GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF STONE FRUIT
The fruit market includes numerous stone fruit. A stone fruit contains a hard central kernel, or “stone”, which enables the tree to reproduce. This type of fruit grows in regions with temperate climates.
Stone fruit can provide a lot of dietary fibre when they are well-ripened. They contain a lot of fructose and are therefore widely appreciated.
